Finally done with my blog page.
After one and a half days of digging through and editing code, making graphics, setting different accounts up, uploading and downloading, and staring at a Blogger editing screen, I finally have this up and running.
Working on this page brought back all the pains and anguishes I remember of webpage design. Looking at what it is now, you may not think much of it, but anyone who has ever had to work with webpages from the coding level knows exactly what I am talking about. I am glad I worked with a pre-made page then creating one from scratch like I had originally intended.
I started by looking at alot of random pages to get a starting point for what I wanted. I also looked at some of the more popular blogs and tried to get an idea of a common design that they had. After I had decided what I wanted from my blog, I went searching for premades close to it so I could edit it easily the way I wanted. I decided I wanted something that was not too cluttered, you know, easy on the eyes so you didn't have to search all over a page for something specific. Something that had a nice color scheme and something that would easily be changeable as I switch out ads or pics. I was left with what you see now.
I am pretty pleased with how my page turned out. It almost makes the headache of editing it, worth it. As most things tend to do, I imagine this will evolve itself into what I want as time goes by. So here's to my new blog. "Cheers!"
